AT last, after months of arguments and crazy ideas, a sensible suggestion has been offered by a resident of Upton regarding the 'clown' project - a replica of our famous lighthouse.
It would be a sign of welcome and recognition by many visitors, and part of our maritime history.
Let us hope the council will bow to the wishes of the majority.
There might even be some money over to provide 'comfort' for our visitors.
