WIRRAL MPs will meet ministers in London tomorrow to discuss concerns over plans to reduce manning hours in West Kirby and Heswall fire stations.
Wirral South and Wirral West MPs Ben Chapman and Stephen Hesford will meet Dr Alan Whitehead MP, under secretary of state responsible for fire and health and safety.
Mr Chapman says: "This will allow us to raise our serious concerns about the proposed reduction in manning hours at Wirral stations.
"It remains our view that the consultation process was deeply flawed and that any decision for night time closure would be misguided."
