WIRRAL intensive therapy unit Sister Julie Reid is about to have her 15 minutes of fame in a film warning teen-agers about alcohol abuse.
Julie agreed to take part in the filming of 'Dead Drunk' when Liverpool production company Hurricane Films took over Ward 41 at Arrowe Park Hospital for a day.
The temporarily vacant ward was transformed into a casualty department while art imitated life for Julie, who played the part of ITU sister.
She will appear in a number of scenes alongside former Brookside actress Kate Fitzgerald.
Julie says: "I enjoyed the experience very much as the filming was very professional but also very moving."
The film, funded by Merseyside Health Action Zone, is aimed at 14 and 15 year olds and will be shown at schools across the area.
