FORTY new jobs are being created by 7C at its new contact centre in Birkenhead.
The firm, based in the Cheshire Lines building, has won a one year contract to provide sales support to Powergen's 'phone customers.
Twenty jobs will be created immediately and the number will double in October.
Birkenhead MP Frank Field says: "This latest deal reaffirms 7C's commitment to Birkenhead and the company's determination to grow its business. It's good news for Birkenhead."
Since the centre opened in June it has brought 350 jobs to the area through contracts with Vodafone, Ericsson and now Powergen. More are expected before the end of the year.
Anyone interested in the jobs should call Natalie Traynor on 650 5422.
