BIRKENHEAD Park stormed to a great 58-11 victory at Stockport as they established themselves as the early front runners in the North Two League.

Stockport opened with a penalty by Ben Chadwick, but Ian Kennedy equalised for Park, who edged ahead with a try by scrum-half Paul Kay and moved further ahead with a try by winger Marc Harris before Chadwick struck his second penalty for Stockport.

The second-half belonged to Park. Further tries came from Hancock, 2, Jon Brennand, Lee Hodgers, Ian Kennedy, Ben O'Rourke and Shudall. Kennedy added four conversions and Gilbert one.

This Saturday, Birkenhead are at home to Blackburn in another league clash.
