HAVING been unable to take part in any South Lancs & Cheshire League Division One games in almost a month, Caldy 1st XV were keen to get back on the horse on Saturday.
They rifled in 99 points to visitors Ormskirk's three.
Hat-tricks of tries for Caldy came from Chris Young, Marcus Coast and Duncan Hendry, while Graeme Close received man of the match for his conversions and try that amounted to 29 points. Ben McGloughlin scored a brace and singles taken over the line by Matt Green and Pecker Mellody.
