Tranmere Rovers . . . . 1 Bristol City . . . . 1
Attendance: 7,459
BRISTOL City had lost their three games prior to Saturday's Nationwide League Division Two match against Tranmere - but on the day the dip in form didn't show.
The Robins netted after 10 minutes when John Burnell passed the ball down the left wing to Micky Bell, who slid a low angle shot just inside the far post.
Bristol continued to dominate the game right up until the break.
But when Tranmere returned they looked a different side. They took the game to Bristol and had a number of chances.
It was Simon Haworth who gave Tranmere their deserved equaliser on 61 minutes. The spectacular goal came from a poor clearance that was intercepted by Haworth and driven into the back of the net 20 yards from goal.
Tranmere could have gone further ahead - they pressured Bristol and looked dangerous right up until the final whistle.
