I WAS very interested in your article about Horror Highways. I agree that all those junctions are a serious problem.
During the past few weeks, traffic lights have been placed at the junction of the busy A41 and Coronation Drive, Bromborough - one entrance to a small housing estate.
The way the lights are set, the traffic on the A41 is stopped every 40 seconds causing traffic to slow and stop, and even when no vehicles are coming out of Coronation Drive. Similarly, when there is a gap in the A41 traffic, the vehicles cannot get out of the drive.
The situation where traffic is stopped on the A41 every 40 seconds at a very small side road is just ridiculous.
