ONE of two men being questioned over the murder of Bromborough man Lee Willingham has been released on police bail.
Merseyside Police, who released a picture of Mr Willingham on Tuesday, have confirmed that a 30-year-old man from Tranmere was released from custody on Saturday to return for interview at a later date.
A 35-year-old, also from Tranmere, remains in police custody.
Father of two Mr Willingham, 30, was found dying in his transit van late on Thursday evening in Fairfield Avenue, Tranmere.
Officers found him with a single stab wound after reports of a disturbance.
He died in hospital shortly after and a post-mortem examination was taking place on Friday.
Police believe his silver Ford van had crashed into numerous cars in nearby Crofton Road before he was found.
The scene was sealed for forensic examinations and house-to-house inquiries were being carried out throughout the day.
Highly-visibility patrols are also being carried out in the area to reassure the public.
