A WIRRAL man will open his house again tomorrow night for a spook-tacular trip in aid of Clatterbridge Cancer Research.

Leigh Bufton's home - 52 Kelsall Avenue, Eastham - has been transformed, for a third time, into a haven of ghoulish Hallowe'en treats and shocks.

It will open to the public tomorrow (Friday), Saturday and Sunday, October 23-25, from 6.30pm-9pm and at the same time next Friday and Saturday, October 30-31.

Earlier tonight, the Globe was given a sneak preview of the horrors that await.

The scary trip begins at Leigh's front door and takes visitors through to a marquee in the back garden.

I can't tell you what lies in store, but it's definitely not for the faint hearted - which includes me. Enter and be afraid.

It's the third year Leigh, a security supervisor, has opened his house of horrors to the public for charity.

Last year, more than 1000 people turned up at his door, raising £1260 for charity.

It has taken Leigh six weeks of hard work to transform his modest terraced home ready for the chilling experience.

He said: "It's definitely not for the faint-hearted. There are about 15 or 20 people involved in the show. So you don't know what's going to pop out or where.

"We raised £1260 for charity last year and hope to raise even more this time.

"I've got people coming from as far as Newcastle to see it. It's exciting and I'm very nervous."

"We want to get more people through the door this year, which is why we're doing it for five nights.

"I can't wait for people to see it. Children have to be accompanied by an adult, because it can be quite scary coming through on your own."

Admission is £1 at the door.
