INDECENCY CHARGE: WIRRAL Magistrates declined to deal summarily with a 40-year-old Bromborough man facing image indecency matters.Gary Lawrence Abbott, of Oteley Avenue, was bailed until April 27 for committal proceedings.

There are 11 specimen charges of making indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children aged between five and 14 on dates in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

SENT TO CROWN COURT: MARK Lennon, 25, of Prenton Hall Road, Prenton, has been sent to the Crown Court by Wirral Magistrates.

He is charged with perverting the course of justice by giving false details to a police officer with intent to avoid prosecution for traffic offences last September.

The matter is only triable at the higher court and Lennon was bailed to face a judge on March 19.

NOT GUILTY PLEA: TWO young men appeared before Wirral Magistrates charged with dishonestly receiving a stolen Honda motor cycle last November.

Sean Donald Mighall, 23, of Hill Ridge, Prenton, and Raymond Gareth Davies, 22, of Ossett Close, Noctorum, entered not guilty pleas. They were bailed until May 20 for trial.

DRUG ALLEGATION: STEVEN Clifford Wallace, 18, of Stretton Close, Prenton, was bailed for two weeks by Wirral Magistrates for a pre-sentence report to be obtained.

He is facing sentence after pleading guilty to possession of cannabis with intent to supply and also supplying the controlled drug at the beginning of the year.
