THE former Bromborough Civic Centre building is on the market for potential redevelopment.
Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), a commercial and residential property consultancy, has put the one-acre site up for sale, on behalf of Wirral Council. acting on behalf of Wirral Council,
Bromborough Civic Centre opened in 1973 and was closed in 2020 with the adjoining library following in 2022. The site has remained vacant since.
Lambert Smith Hampton say the 'prominent' site lends itself to a variety of different uses subject to planning, and is likely to appeal to a variety of developers.
The site is not limited by any constraints, not located within a Conservation Area and contains no listed buildings.
Oliver Williams, regional land manager at LSH, said: “Demand for strategically located development sites on the Wirral Peninsula remains high and we look forward to receiving expressions of interest for a variety of local and national developers”.
