A SUMMER music festival is coming to a Wirral venue.

Birkenhead music venue Future Yard will be hosting its fourth edition of Future Now festival over the August bank holiday.

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August Future Yard will be channelling the spirit of its very first summer festival in 2019 and will be taking over multiple venues across Birkenhead, with Birkenhead Town Hall as the main stage.

2019’s festival across Birkenhead was the catalyst for the Future Yard and saw a storming headline set in the Birkenhead town hall from Anna Calvi one night, plus a homecoming of the Wirral’s favourite son Bill Ryder Jones.

This year, Nubiyan Twist returns to Birkenhead as the second of four festival headliners announced, along with University, Night Tapes, Man / Woman / Chainsaw and Blue Dolphin Wranglers.

They join Nadine Shah – first headliner announced – plus The Lovely Eggs, Hamish Hawk, bdrmm, Chalk, Girl Ray, Melin Melyn, Genn, Yard + Spielmann all set to perform across the weekend.

The second headliner, full line up and festival venue and day splits are still to be announced.

Earlybird and tier 1 First Release tickets are now sold out. Second release tickets are currently on sale for £67.20. Buy tickets here.
