MEET our dog of the week, Dusty, who is looking for a forever home.

The 10-year-old Crossbreed is currently a resident at Dogs Trust Merseyside. Described as a 'super sweet boy', he found himself without a home after a change in his family’s circumstances but given how he has adjusted to life at the rehoming centre they are confident he will soon settle in with a new family.

Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Dusty has loved everyone he has met here and he is a really loving boy so he could live with children over the age of eight and he’d make a gorgeous family pet.

"He loves being groomed and even took a trip to the vet in his stride, so we are really hoping that someone gives him the home he deserves very soon."

Dusty is said to be happy meeting four-legged friends when out and about and can be a bit cheeky when off lead.

In the home he also likes to make sure when he’s eating, his food is his alone and not to share, so is best suited to being the only dog in the home but with canine companions to meet up with when he’s out on walks.
