MEET out dog of the week, Archie, who needs your help to find a forever home.
The four-year-old Pointer Cross, currently being looked after by staff at Dogs Trust Merseyside, can live with cats, dogs and children over the age of ten, so if you are ready to welcome a dog into your life then maybe Archie is the answer.
Archie is described as a 'friendly boy' who likes to say hello to people first rather than have them making a big fuss of him. He is very friendly and, as well as people, loves other dogs too.
Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Archie is a typical hound, so he is energetic and inquisitive, and therefore strong on the lead, but he is charming, sweet and a lot of fun.
"He will be a fantastic addition to a family who like to get out and about.
"It would be great for him to have a canine companion as he’s very playful, and he has lived with a cat before so will expect to play with them too!"
Archie’s only dislike in life is that he doesn’t like to be left home alone as he isn’t used to it, so he would like his family to be around for him, particularly whilst he settles in.
