Revving for a Cause: The Wirral Egg Run Returns on March 17th!

The Wirral egg run is set to take place on March 17th, setting off from the dips in New Brighton, and continuing through West Wirral before reaching Clatterbridge taking on a 20-mile route. Last year an impressive 1,000 bikers were present and similar numbers are expected once again. The event is in effort to raise money for local charities and to bring joy to underprivileged children during the easter season.

This spectacular event is held in honour of the original pre-easter run which ended in 2013 due to a lack of funding. Despite this the generous residents of the Wirral have continued to selflessly keep running regardless, allowing money to be raised for local charities and the collection of Easter eggs for local underprivileged children. The annual day out has raised tens of thousands of pounds over the years and will once again see thousands of bikers come and show their support for the community.

At the starting point, The Dips, cash donation points are available for Claire House Children’s Hospice, Northwest Air Ambulance, and Merseyside and Cheshire Blood Bikes. All of which are vital to majorly improving our local community and improving the lives of those who are struggling, so your donations will be crucial to helping their causes.

Not only is the Wirral Egg Run a spectacle to behold, but it's also an invitation for everyone to participate. So mark your calendars for the 17th of March to show your support for an amazing cause and bring along any friends or family to show the amazing organisers and the remarkable charities our support.
