MEET Wirral Globe's dog of the week Dolly, described as 'a lovely, sweet girl who will make a perfect pet'.
The four-year-old Bedlington Terrier arrived at Dogs Trust Merseyside in early December after a change in her owner’s circumstances meant they couldn’t give her the time and attention they know she deserves.
The team at the charity's rehoming centre are said to be surprised that Dolly hasn’t yet found her forever home but are hoping it won’t be too long before she meets her new family.
She loves to head out on an adventure and gets very excited so at first she likes to make her presence felt but she settles down after a minute or two and loves to explore.
She is happy to meet up with canine companions when she’s out and about but she would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
Georgina Lowery, manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said: "Dolly is a lovely, sweet girl who will make a perfect pet.
"She can live with children aged ten and over and we are confident she’ll settle in well.
"Often in her kennel she is just snuggled up having a snooze but she’s always happy to see us and head out on a walk."
