KING Charles III's Coronation is looming, and you may be wondering where you can go to celebrate the event in Wirral.

The coronation will take place on Saturday, May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London. The King will be crowned alongside Camilla, the Queen Consort and a host of other events will be taking place up and down the country.

People will also enjoy an extra bank holiday on Monday, 8 May to mark the occasion.

King Coronation Party, Wirral Joint Services

The Wirral Joint Services, located in Wallasey, are holding a party for the coronation of the King.

Tickets which are £25, are for two people, and include a hamper and music.

The event, on Saturday, May 6, will run from 11am-11.30pm.

Coronation Village Fayre, Thornton Hough

On Sunday, May 7, Thornton Hough Village Hall will be hosting a Family Fun Day.

It is free entry and will run from 11am-3pm.

There will be lots of family activities and farmer and craft markets.

Coronation Special, Vale Park

Friends of Vale Park are hosting a Coronation Special, hosted by Aaron, Joytimes long-standing host, in the Vale Park Bandstand.

Gates will open at 12pm, and the show starts at 1pm.

Entry is £1 per person on the gate and there will be deck chairs available.

Bring the family and a picnic, sit back and watch the kids have lot of fun.

Community Festival, New Brighton

For the coronation celebration's for King Charles III, Equilibrium North West CIC are closing part of the Victoria Quarter in New Brighton ready for a Community Festival to remember.

There will be Live Music, Dance, Kids Interactive Zone, Owls, Face-painting, Mascots and Story Time, with Street Food from around the globe.

There will also be a Fairground and Market Stalls.

The event will run on Saturday, May 6, from 11am-4pm.

Coronation live stream, Neston

Neston Community Youth Centre is going to live stream the coronation of the King on a cinema screen and serve coffee, pastries and afternoon tea.

The event will be taking place at the Neston Civic Hall on Hinderton Road on Saturday, May 6 from 10am-2pm.
