A MAN has been arrested in Wirral after reportedly walking into a road brandishing a kitchen knife.
A report was received shortly after 11.15am today that a man was walking into the road on Fender Way on the Beechwood Estate holding a small kitchen knife. He was then reported to have entered flats nearby, police say.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: "Specialist officers attended and a man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and affray. He has been taken to a police station in Merseyside to be interviewed.
"There are no reports that anyone was assaulted or injured."
