BIRKENHEAD has been ranked as the fourth worst place to make a living in the UK.
The data, complied from research by TotallyMoney, looks at the median monthly take-home salary, average monthly mortgage repayments, cost of living, unemployment levels and job growth to rank a total of 59 locations from best place to earn a living to worst.
People in Birkenhead were registered with the lowest monthly median salary at around £428.
Business closures per 10,000 population were ranked at 34.71% and the average mortgage repayment was £905.
The employment rate was 71%.
After analysing these figures, TotallyMoney placed Birkenhead as the fourth worst place to make a living in the UK and the worst in the North West.
The best place to earn a living in the UK was Crawley which also registered the highest employment rate at 87%.
