CASTMEMBERS from Port Sunlight Players' forthcoming production of Lerner & Loewe's classic musical My Fair Lady are pictured during a break from rehearsals.
The show - based on George Bernard Shaw's play and Gabriel Pascal's film Pygmalion - will be staged at The Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight from next Wednesday to Saturday, March 21-24.
The story concerns Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl who takes speech lessons from professor Henry Higgins, a phoneticist, so that she may pass as a lady.
The original Broadway and London shows starred Rex Harrison and Julie Andrews.
The Port Sunlight Players' production is directed by Julia Whitehead with musical direction by Greg Williams.
Tickets are available from the Theatre Box Office or 643 8757 and online at www.gladstonetheatre.org.uk
