Tranmere Rovers winger leaves club 'by mutual consent'
TRANMERE Rovers winger Adam Dawson has left the club today after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent.
The 25-year-old played nine times in a loan period at Prenton Park during 2015-16 before returning on a permanent deal after leaving Eastleigh in November 2016.
A statement on the club's website this afternoon said: "He struggled to break into the first team, however, making just four appearances after his return to the Club, his last competitive outing coming in a 1-0 victory over Maidstone United on the final day of the regular season last term.
"We would like to thank Adam for his effort while at Prenton Park and wish him well for his future."
