Merseyrail say the disruption is expected to last until 2pm
RAIL services across the Wirral Line will face delays after a track fault between James Street and Hamilton Square.
Merseyrail say the disruption is expected to last until 2pm.
Train services from West Kirby are returning to normal but some services may be delayed.
Trains from Ellesmere Port and New Brighton will be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Birkenhead Central.
Engineering staff have so far repaired the earlier fault and services can run through to Liverpool.
Following the repair of the earlier track fault- Wirral services can now run through to Liverpool on all lines. All services remain subject to severe delay/ part cancellations until further notice. https://t.co/daMz6GeGaU
