A ROYAL visitor is expected to arrive in Wirral today.
Fresh from the announcement of baby number three Prince William will visit Guinea Gap leisure centre in Wallasey were large crowds are expected.
He will take part in an event hosted by British Sub-Aqua Club, English Schools' Swimming Association and Swim England - three of the Duke's patronages.
The Duchess of Cambridge was set to join William on the visit but due to suffering with Hyperemesis Gravidarum, an severe form of morning sickness, she is now unable to attend.
Wirral Council say preparations are 'well underway' for the special visit.
During his time in Merseyside the Duke of Cambridge will also open the new Urgent Care and Trauma Centre at Aintree Hospital and visit the Life Rooms which provides a safe and social place for recovery, health and wellbeing.
HRH will then join an event at Guinea Gap Leisure Centre with @BSACdivers, @essa_swimming & @Swim_England - three of The Duke's patronages.
