SWEET pooch Sasha is looking for a forever home after spending life at Dogs Trust Merseyside.

The seven-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier's life before the rehoming centre is unknown and she is ready to live a quiet life.

She would be best suited to a steady home with older children aged 14 and over.

A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust Merseyside said:"Sasha is a sweet little staffy cross with an unknown history.

"She seems quite set in her ways and ready for a quiet life, so if you're looking for a nice, steady companion, she may well fit the bill.

"She likes to encourage visitors to stop and see her, then leans against her kennel in an attempt to steal fusses.

"She's happy to potter about and do her own thing, and doesn't really bother with toys much.

"Poor Sasha needs surgery on her knee at the beginning of October, but everything will be paid for by Dogs Trust.

"The staff would love to see her out of kennels and settled in to a home to recover.

"Sasha is looking for a steady home with older children, around 14 and above, as she doesn't enjoy too much noise and chaos.

"She adores company and would be an ideal pal for someone who is older, or someone who is there for most of the day."
