A WIRRAL dance class for pre-school children has been awarded the best 'diddi dance' franchisee in the UK.

'Diddi dance' was created by professional dancer Anne-Marie Martin and after running for more than nine years in London, classes are now available at more than 40 locations across the UK.

Classes are designed to build confidence, co-ordination, rhythm, fitness and social skills, welcoming youngsters from the age of 16-months to five years-old.

Suzie Harley, who runs Wirral 'diddi dance' took home the 'diddi doer' award which is awarded to the franchisee who is the best marketer - promoting their business across many levels showing initiative and inspiring others.

Suzie told the Globe: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have won this award it has totally motivated me to continue push forward and validated me for the work I have done so far this year.

"I was totally overwhelmed and a great surprise to win."

Suzie started off as a 'diddi dance' teacher for her sister Danielle's franchise Chester and North Wales just more than 10 years ago, but Suzie's huge passion and zest for 'diddi dance' inspired her to go on to become a franchise.

She launched 'diddi dance' Wirral more than three years ago starting off with three classes and this September will have seven classes in total all around the area.

Anne-Marie said: “Suzie is always coming up with new ideas to help her business grow and gain more awareness, she’s creative and enthusiastic and a great example for the network.

"We can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.”

'Diddi dance' Wirral will be branching out to Neston, Irby and Wallasey from September.
