AFTER a spell in the Scottish Isles the MV Balmoral returns to Merseyside to sail from Liverpool to Llandudno.

Arriving in Merseyside tomorrow (Saturday) on a near sell-out voyage the twice royal yacht will depart from Liverpool at 9am to arrive at Llandudno by 12.30pm.

Until Sunday, July 23 the MV Balmoral will sail for eight days giving holiday makers, tourists and locals the opportunity to sail the spectacular North Wales coastal route to Llandudno.

Customers will sail the route that generations of Liverpudlians have travelled to Llandudno and its fabulously restored Victorian Pier.

The Balmoral will then sail through the Menai Straights under its famous bridges and pass Caernarvon Castle showcasing superb scenic views and landmarks only available from the sea.

Originally built in 1949 the Balmoral has been welcoming passengers on board and taking them on spectacular cruises around the great British coastline for 65 years.

"Balmoral was the UK Historic Fleets Flagship of the Year 2016 and is Britains most travelled coastal excursion ship.

"She offers unique cruises all around the UK’s fabulous coastline. Balmorals sailings always prove very popular with locals and the many tourists attracted to the area.

"We are delighted to be able to give an extra three days sailings in North Wales and Liverpool after sadly being unable to sail to the Isle of Man.

"Advanced bookings are very high for many cruises especially for this Saturdays Liverpool – Llandudno trip.

"I would advise to book tickets as soon as possible to be certain of sailing, although tickets can be obtained onboard on the day for the many of the cruises.

"The ship has a 70-seater restaurant and her famous art deco Britannia Lounge where refreshments are available throughout the voyage.

"The ship even has its own special bottled real ale - just bring yourselves for a truly great day out for all the family.”
