REGARDING the letter via email from Leaway in Greasby concerning a street light not working for six months and no repair being carried out.
Well I can beat this waiting for repair time by a further nine months.
The light outside Wellington Mansions on Wellington Road in New Brighton has not worked since a gale in October 2015 when the top of the light was blown off and ended up in our garden.
I reported this online and two workmen turned up to look at it and said they would be back.
They never came back. I have since reported it four more times online plus three phone calls and still no one has been to fix it.
It is now 16 months since first reported and I have given up on ever seeing it work again.
