MY mum is 87 years old but regularly helps out at St James Church, New Brighton.
A couple of days ago she was in the church cleaning when someone came in and took her handbag.
On Wednesday a gentleman arrived at my mum’s house with the bag and said he had gone to put some rubbish in the bin at New Brighton train station and spotted the new-looking bag in the bin.
He picked it out and found my mum’s bus pass with her address on so he could return the bag to her.
Although the money had long gone my mum was in so much shock when the kind man came to deliver her handbag she forgot to thank him sincerely for what he had done.
Whoever you were, thank you so much for returning my bag to my mum.
