A WITNESS appeal has been launched following a crash involving a police car and Renault Clio in Birkenhead this afternoon.
The marked police car was not responding to an emergency call at the time of crash at the junction of Watson Street and Price Street around 4.15pm.
An ambulance attended to assess both drivers.
No-one was seriously injured.
The junction is currently closed and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Roads Policing Officers on 0151 777 5747 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
