Motorcyclist taken to hospital following crash in Wallasey
A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital with a suspected broken pelvis following a road traffic crash in Wallasey.
Emergency services were called to Mill Lane at around 5.45pm on Wednesday to reports a motorcycle and a car had been in collision.
The driver of the car, a Renault Clio, failed to stop at the scene.
The 26-year-old rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital where he continues to be treated.
The road was closed while collision investigators attended the scene and the road was cleared.
Police are urging anyone with information about this incident to contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
