A teenage girl was knocked down by a suspected stolen van being pursued by police at Moreton.
Police are hunting the driver of the van, which crashed into a brick outbuilding causing "considerable damage."
A spokesman said: “Merseyside Police is appealing for information after a suspected stolen vehicle collided with a pedestrian in the Moreton area on Monday, June 20.
“At around 9.40pm, a report was received of a Ford Trans Connect van seen travelling at speed on Manor Road, Upton, heading towards Moreton.
“Following a brief pursuit, the vehicle drove into Lyons Close where it was involved in a collision with a 15-year-old girl before hitting a brick outbuilding causing considerable damage."
The girl suffered superficial injuries and did not require hospital treatment.
The occupant of the van is believed to have made off on foot and inquiries are ongoing to trace their whereabouts.
