THE Orchestra Dell' Arte and its Wirral-born conductor Edward Peake will feature in this year's Parkgate Proms.

The event is being staged at Neston Cricket Club for the third time due to popular demand, and take place on Friday, July 1.

The 32-piece live Orchestra's repertoire will feature music from the world of Hollywood and Broadway via Vienna.

Edward retired from the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra after 30 years and is now musical director for Orchestra dell’Arte. He was also a founding member of Heswall Arts Festival.

The event is sponsored by PR and marketing company Mason Media and Lees Solicitors.

Club president Tony Bush said: "The Proms is a fantastic event and we're delighted to be welcoming back Edward Peak and his talented orchestra."
