Fire crews battled a blaze believed to have been started deliberately at a derelict social club in Ellesmere Port.
Two appliances were sent to the old Greyhound Social Club on Thornton Road in the town at 2.20pm on Saturday.
The incident involved a large quantity of rubbish outside the building.
There was also a second fire within the club.
It is suspected the fires were started deliberately.
It is not the first time the building has been attacked by arsonists.
In October 2014 it was heavily damaged by fire with police opening an investigation afterwards declaring it as "suspicious."
