A MAN was treated for injuries to his face, arms and legs after he was attacked at a shop in Seacombe.
Emergency services were called to Londis in Brighton Street on Wednesday night to a report that a 41-year-old man had been assaulted.
The victim suffered bruising to the face, arms and legs and was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
The man wanted by police is believed to have left the scene in a black Mercedes car.
Merseyside Police say forensic examination of the scene is taking place and CCTV opportunities are being explored.
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
