BEBINGTON Dramatic Society stages its production of Arthur Miller's classic drama All my sons at the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight this week.
It tells the tale of Joe Keller and Herbert Deever, who ran a machine shop which made aeroplane parts during the war.
Herbert was sent to prison because the firm turned out defective parts causing the deaths of many men, but Joe went free and made a lot of money.
It also looks at the bitterness of George Deever returned from war to find his father in prison and his father's partner free, are all set in a structure of almost unbearable power, leading to a climax that is a fitting conclusion to a play which is described as electrifying in its intensity.
The show's run opens on Wednesday March 2, ending on Saturday. Performances start at 7.30pm.
