FLORAL tributes have been laid near the spot where the body of Luke Murphy was found on New Brighton shoreline.

The 20-year-old from Wallasey was reported missing last Tuesday night and his body was found near Fort Perch Rock on Friday.

Many tributes have been paid to Luke on the Globe's facebook page and elsewhere.

Among the floral tributes at the scene was one from Hayley, Tanveer and Aleena, which read: "My little brother, we all love and miss you so much.

"Still can't believe you're gone out of our life.

"RIP Luke and we will see you again."

Another from Luke's nan and grandad Crone, read: "Fond memories of our dear Luke.

"Goodnight, God bless. XXX"

Police said the death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem will take place to establish the cause.
