Two rescued from Wirral house fire
TWO people were taken to hospital for checks after they were rescued from a house fire in Rock Ferry.
Fire crews were called to Deverill Road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
One man and a female were treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to Arrowe Park Hospital.
The kitchen was damaged by fire, heat and smoke.
The remainder of the house sustained smoke damage.
