A WIRRAL preschool celebrated its 25 anniversary with a visitor from the borough's mayor.
Cllr Les Rowlands visited Brookhurst Preschool on Friday morning and joined children for a snack.
The group was set up by Anne Chapman together with friends Anne McGovern, Sue Mottram, Elaine Small and Pauline Buckley in 1990.
A spokesman for the school said: "The current staff have been with the group for many years - managers Kerry Green (23 years) and Carol Cottrell (16 Years) who together with Ingrid Kniebe, Maz Hill, Charlotte Kerr, Kerrie Levell, Sandra Wellings and Claire Byron continue to provide care and education for children in the Bromborough area."
Ofsted described Brookhurst as a "magical place full of wonderful things to discover".
