Fire crews were called out to a two-car collision in Wirral this morning.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended the incident on Pensby Road at around 11am.
A 19-year-old woman from one of the vehicles was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital for a precautionary check.
An 83-year-old man in the other vehicle was checked at the scene by paramedics.
Appliances from Wallasey and Birkenhead fire stations were called out.
Firefighters made the carriageway safe.
