An Easter Egg Hunt will be held in Bebington from April 4 to April 12.
The event aims to raise cash for Walton Neurological Centre and increase awareness of independent businesses in Bebington Village. The hunt promises hidden treats for the kids, with vouchers and special offers available for adults.
But most importantly, the hunt is on to locate the lost “Golden Eggs” which are to be found after a 2.5km trip.
Jai Byron, event organiser, said: “Everyone can go at their own pace. We’re asking for a minimum donation of £1 per participant, which is going directly to the Walton centre.”
Heswall’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is also taking place everyday this week. Organised in conjunction with the Heswall Business Association and The Church of the Good Shepherd it ends on Saturday, April 4. More details are from Abbas at Perfect Pets on 0151 342 9635.
4. Help raise money for children in hospital...
Kind-hearted trio Fay Murphy, Ria Cairns and Tracey Bleasdale will be holding an fun day on Saturday, April 4 to raise money for children spending Easter in hospital.
They set up a Facebook page called ‘Raising Money for Children’s Hospital’ in April 2012.
Since then, the entrepreneurial women have been accepting donations of unwanted items which are then resold to raise money to buy much-needed supplies and toys for local charities.
Ronald McDonald House Arrowe Park and St Catherine’s Hospital are just two organisations benefitting from their hard work, as well as various clinics across the borough.
Their latest fundraising venture will take place at the Community Spirit Freedom Centre on Liscard Road - opposite The Kings Arms Pub - from 11am to 4pm on Saturday.
5. Visit the Pyramids...
Easter-themed festivities will be laid on at the Birkenhead shopping centre.
The fun events, which include a computerized game called Catch The Eggs take place on Saturday, April 4 from 10am to 4pm.
Two similar events took place earlier this month.
There to enjoy the fun was mum-of-two, Amy Churchill, who was shopping at Pyramids Shopping Centre with daughters, Ella, six, and Phoebe, five.
Amy said: “My girls have just loved it here today. With the face painting they got free bunny ears, and they also met the Easter Bunny himself, then they had a fabulous time watching the bunny racing championships.”
