POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they would like to trace in connection with two "disturbing" indecent exposures in Wallasey this month.
Both incidents occurred on Sunday, March 8.
The first happened on Earlston Road at around 5.15pm and the second on Rowson Street at around 5.50pm.
On both occasions a male exposed himself to women who had been walking in the area before running away.
Detectives are keen to trace the male pictured as they believe he may be able to assist them with their enquiries and would urge him or anyone who recognised him to get in touch.
Detective Inspector Paul Parry said: "This was a disturbing incident for these women who did exactly the right thing and reported these incidents to us.
"I would urge anyone who may have witnessed either of these incidents or anyone who recognises the male pictured to get in touch as it is very important that we trace him.
"I would like to reassure the community that incidents like this are rare and we are taking them extremely seriously. Neighbourhood officers will be highly-visible on the streets in this area so that anyone with information or concerns can speak to them and an investigation by CID is underway.”
Detectives believe the incidents are linked and are appealing for anyone with information, or who recognises the male in the CTTV stills, to contact them on 0151 777 2265 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
