Crown Court trial for Wirral man charged with wounding
A MAN appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court today charged with wounding following an incident in Wallasey.
Richard Joseph David Evans, aged 30, of Challis Street, Birkenhead was sent for trial at Liverpool Crown Court.
Magistrates heard that at 8.35am on Sunday, police were called to a house on Gainsborough Road.
They found a man in his 20s with serious injuries. The victim was taken to hospital where his condition remains critical.
A preliminary hearing will take place at the higher court on April 7.
An application for bail was refused.
