Merseyrail services return to normal after 'frozen snow' disruption
Train services have now resumed following major disruptions at Southport, Kirby, Hunts Cross, Ellesmere Port and Chester.
Merseyrail blamed "frozen snow" for the cancellation of many trains during this morning's commuter rush hour.
The travel organisation says some delays may still be experienced on the Ellesmere Port to Hooton line.
