Pensioner taken to hospital after car hits lamp post in Wallasey
A 68-year-old woman was taken to hospital for checks after her car hit a lamp post in Wallasey.
Emergency services were called to Royden Avenue just after 10am on Thursday.
A crew from Birkenhead fire station attended and helped make the scene safe.
