WIRRAL schools celebrated their success during a prestigious awards ceremony at Liverpool's Anglican Cathedral.
Bebington High Sports College and Kilgarth schools were among those across Merseyside who were praised for their achievements during the Educate Awards on Friday night.
Now in its third year, the awards celebrate innovative education in Merseyside, awarding the hard work, dedication and passion of the schools and teachers who work tirelessly to produce outstanding projects and extracurricular activities for their students.
Bebington High Sports College was runner up in the career aspiration category and shortlisted in this category for its hugely successful school farm.
The school was also shortlisted for the SEN Provision Award, commended for its 'family approach' and inclusion of all students through the school farm.
Kilgarth School won a special commendation in the SEN Provision Award category for its dedication and determination of all of its staff towards every one of their pupils.
The whole team strives to make a difference to the lives of the boys in its care.
Kim O'Brien, executive editor of Educate Magazine, said: "With winners from all the boroughs in Merseyside, this year's Educate Awards showcased the high standards, innovation and passion of all our schools and teachers.
