A MAN accused of stealing £28,000 from his elderly mum who suffers from dementia appeared at Liverpool Crown Court.
Ian David Scott, of Ferny Brow Road, Woodchurch, faces six charges of stealing cash with a total value of £28,340, from Iris Doreen Scott between November 23, 2011, and February 1 last year.
The 46-year-old is accused of stealing money from his mother at an address on Berkeley Court, Upton.
He had been expected to enter his pleas today but this was adjourned until November 19 and a trial date beginning on December 10 was provisionally fixed.
Scott was further remanded on conditional bail.
