WHEN are the police going to do something and get cyclists off our pavements or are they waiting until someone gets knocked down and injured?
Have they forgotten that it’s an offence with an on-the-spot fine of £30 as a penalty?
I don't know about other parts of the Wirral, but in Moreton, Leasowe, Liscard and Wallasey it seems that there are more cyclist on the pavements than there are on the road.
It only seems to be cycling enthusiasts who do it as a sport that stay on the road.
Apart from very young children that we can excuse, there should be no cyclists on any pavements.
Make our pavements safe, get the cyclists off.
Andy Jamieson, Moreton
