TRANMERE Rovers have extended the loan deal of Everton winger Matthew Kennedy by one month, subject to Football League and Football Association clearance.

The 19-year old joined Rovers in January and has made six appearances for the Club.

He started his career with Kilmarnock where he made his first team debut at the age of 16.

He played 14 times before joining Everton where he has since become a regular for the Under-21s.

He has represented Scotland at Under-17, 19 and 21 level.

Rovers' manager Ronnie Moore said: "Matthew has done well since he’s been here.

"He's quick and direct and is a handful for opponents.

"I think he can get better too. He's only young but he’s learning quickly and hopefully will start to add some goals to his game.

"I'd like to thank Everton manager Roberto Martinez for letting Matthew stay with us."
