Death of a 44-year-old man in Birkenhead 'not suspicious' say police
THE death of a 44-year-old man whose body was discovered in Birkenhead last week is not being treated as suspicious by police.
The body was found in Buccleuch Street on Friday evening after Merseyside Police patrols were called to an address by the ambulance service at around 8.15pm.
A post mortem has taken place and the file has been passed on to the coroner.
The dead man has been identified and his next of kin informed but his name has not been released publicly.
